Keeping the existing workforce up to speed by providing customized training is the focus of JDCC's Training for Existing Business and Industry (TEBI) program. Classes are custom-designed for business needs and topics are virtually unlimited. Recent classes include Supervisory & Leaderhip Skills Training, Microsoft Office Suite Training (beginner to advanced), MasterCam Training and Welding. TEBI also offers seminars for the Law Enforcement community including procedural issues. "We are a community college and we want to provide what our 'communities' need and want," Workforce Development Director Al Bennett said. "With the changing economic climate, JDCC is here to train and equip the transitioning workforce with the skills necessary to succeed in today's volatile job market."
