Keeping the existing workforce up to speed by providing customized training is the focus of JDCC's Training for Business and Industry (TBI) program. Classes are custom-designed for business needs and topics are virtually unlimited. Recent classes include computer classes, interpreting financial statements, Wise Use of Credit, and Pre-Purchase Home Buyers. TBI also offers seminars for the Law Enforcement community including procedural issues. "We are a community college and we want to provide what our 'communities' need and want," TBI coordinator Al Bennett said. "We can customize classes for most any need, and I encourage businesses to call on us first."
